Sensation White

Sensation is a dance-event, which takes place in the Netherlands and is organized by ID&T. The original event, was exclusively in the Amsterdam Arena but from 2005, is located in Poland, Spain, Austria, Chile, Germany, Belgium, Hungary, Czech Republic, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Serbia, Brazil, Norway, Ukraine and United Kingdom.

Although it began as one edition, just called Sensation, it has been split up into two editions, Sensation Black and Sensation White. This is done to point out the difference in music style and in the whole feeling. Sensation Black focuses more on 'darker' music, whereas Sensation White focuses more on Trance. On 2008 the names of the events have been changed: ”Sensation“ (before ”Sensation White“), and ”Black“ (before ”Sensation Black“).

Sensation White used to be a trance event, but in later years, it has become a pure house event. All the visitors are required to wear white and the Amsterdam Arena itself is also decorated to match. Sensation White has a slogan, "Be Part Of The Night - Dress in White".

Every event has around 40000-45000 tickets available and believe me, there is always a sold out. Great DJs that have appeared at Sensation include Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Swedish House Mafia, Darren Emerson, David Guetta, Erick E, Erick Morillo, Ferry Corsten, Marco V, Paul van Dyk, Sander Kleinenberg, Steve Angello, Fedde Le Grand, Sebastian Ingrosso, Felix Da Housecat, Laidback Luke, Tocadisco and many others.

To create interest in the event, Sensation came up with a contest where the fans would vote for their favorite theme, via the social networks, and make it the anthem. The people behind this event do their best to make each party unique and unforgettable for the visitors and really give their whole energy in it. Despite all the technical problems, the DJs booking and many others, as the great amount of power consumption in each event, it is true that the do a great job.

It is truly a life experience to be there and see for yourself how great a party can be and how much people can create and imagine when they really love what they do...
