The capital town of Mykonos, Hora, is one of the most famous places in the Mediterranean. Scattered among the cobbled streets of the town, there are hundreds of small white churches, which were built mainly due to the vows of the sailors' relatives. Elaborate and well-groomed, then a strong proof of both the unbreakable plans of the island with the sea, and the deep faith of the locals. Blurred by the glittering freshly whitewashed cobbled streets, everyone walks hurriedly to catch up with it, because the rhythms of Mykonos are intense!
Just a few meters away from the main street of Hora, a wonderful new world lies in front of the eyes of the dazzled tourists. bonzoe.gr There are numerous shops with traditional products to discover, artists' corners and flower gardens - a rather unusual sight for a Cycladic island. Another famous spot of the notorious island is a place called Little Venice. This of course is due to the high resemblance with the famous city of Italy. Little Venice is considered to be the most picturesque neighborhood of Mykonos with the colorful captain's houses and the cozy cocktail-bars where the waves break. This particular place is a must to visit at sunset. However, if a person would prefer to enjoy it in more peaceful terms, away from the eyes of other tourists and the noise of the crowd, it would be wise to pay a visit in the morning.
