Mystery Land

Mystery Land is the “oldest dance festival” in Holland. It began in 1993 and its current location is Haarlemmermeer on the grounds of the former Floriade.

Mystery Land attracts about 60000 visitors a year. A comprehensive line-up offering music, dance, art and theatre is combined with workshops, fusion food and art. Various well-known artists, such as Micha Klein and Dadara, have designed the festival artwork.

Each year, thousands of people after travelling to Mysteryland, return with millions of unique stories. Every story is as unbelievable as it is true, yet none of them embraces the entire festival experience. Not only does this edition offer a broader creative program than ever. Musically, Mysteryland also brings an explosion of various electronic styles, ranging from cutting edge dubstep, hip hop and disco to the cream of the international house, techno and electro scene.

With an international cast including Sebastian Ingrosso, Richie Hawtin, Hi-Tek Soul from Detroit masters Derrick May and Kevin Saunderson, Marcel Dettmann, Tensnake, Boys Noize, Modeselektor, Martin Solveig, Dave Clarke and Ben Sims, combined with Holland’s very own heroes and talents, like Joris Voorn, 2000 And One, Speedy J, Afrojack, Chuckie, The Man With No Shadow, Gomes and Brutuzz, Mysteryland’s musical diversity can’t be mistaken. There’s even room for some surprising collabs, like hip hop artists Winne and Skinto with Headhunterz and Promo, both deejays of harder styles.

In 1993 and 1994 Mystery Land lasted 3 days and has been staged in February, March, April, June and July. Now for the 7th time in its permanent location, it takes place every year on the last Saturday of August. Mystery Land will travel for first time outside Holland, even Europe. On December 16, 17 and 18, 2011 Mystery Land is going to be held in Chile.

Experience the happiest day of the year….

Amsterdam Dance Event

The Amsterdam Dance Event is a conference for electronic music and a large-scale club event festival based in the city of Amsterdam, in the Netherlands. The festival is held annually in mid-October and takes place in 40 clubs spread all over the city.

The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is the gateway to the international electronic music scene. As Europe's leading electronic music conference and the world's biggest club festival, it is a true dance lovers' Mecca. As it is one of the leading music conferences, it offers a blend of conferences, interactive workshops and technical demonstrations along with 52 venues that take place around the whole city.

ADE always brings in the crowds with established names on the line-up alongside rising stars (who take to the decks as part of ADE NEXT). The playlist for 2011 is again suitably diverse: electronic, acid, techno, trance, house, hip-hop, drum 'n' bass and other beat-filled sounds to make you move.

This annual event attracts 2,500 business professionals and 112,000 festival visitors from all around the globe to the tune of more than 700 DJs and artists. With this year's program resembling a who's-who and who's-that of dance floor royalty, 2011 looks set to rewrite the rules on bringing down the house.ADE presents music lovers with four days of the absolute world top of dance music artists.

This year's line-up sure does not fall short of previous editions. Big names include Dutch Grammy award winner Afrojack who recently scored a number one hit in America, Richie Hawtin's new 'Plastikman 1.5' show, David Guetta, Carl Cox, and, of course, Amsterdam's very own Armin van Buuren. However, there are a slew of underground heroes and up-and-comers for you to discover, so make sure to keep checking the program!
